About Wattowatch
Why it exists
Most evenings, the hardest part of watching something is choosing it. Streaming catalogs are enormous, every service ranks its own titles, and a group of people rarely agrees. Wattowatch exists to end that scroll: answer a few quick questions and get one clear pick you can actually start watching.
What it does
You tell Wattowatch your country, the streaming services you subscribe to, what you are in the mood for and who you are watching with. It looks only at titles available on your services in your country, and suggests one at a time — with the runtime, year and where to stream it. Like it, skip it, or mark it as already watched; it will not suggest it again.
How picks are chosen
Recommendations are produced by a transparent scoring engine, not by paid placement. It filters by availability first, then ranks the remaining titles using your mood and genre answers, audience ratings, runtime, and your own likes, dislikes and watched marks. Affiliate or advertising relationships never change which titles are recommended or how they rank.
Where the data comes from
Title information and streaming availability come from Movie of the Night. Availability changes often and differs by country, so each list on the site is labelled with the market it reflects. If something looks wrong, please tell us.
How the site is funded
Wattowatch is free to use. It may show advertising on its browse-style list pages and may earn a commission from some streaming links. Ads never appear inside the questionnaire or the recommendation cards. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
