Best movies on Netflix right now

Only films, no series — the highest-rated movies in your country's Netflix catalog today.

About this list

Films only, drawn from titles included with Netflix in your country. Series are left out so that you can commit to a single sitting rather than a season.

Netflix's film catalog rotates through licensing, so the list is built from current availability every time you load it. If a film you were hoping for is missing, it may not be offered in your market at the moment. Titles that can only be rented or bought on Netflix are left out.

How to choose

Use runtime to match a film to the time you have tonight.
Licensed films rotate; originals tend to be more permanent.
For a genre, try the Netflix horror or thriller lists.

How this list is built: titles are filtered to what is available to stream in the United States, then sorted by the aggregated audience rating supplied by our data provider. It is not a critics' ranking and no placement is paid for.
