What we collect

Wattowatch works without an account. We use an anonymous browser identifier (a random ID stored in a cookie) to remember your watchlist, liked/disliked titles, and recommendation history on this device. If you sign in, we additionally store your account identifier provided by the authentication service (for example your Google account ID) so your data follows you across devices.

We record product events — questions answered, cards shown, likes, skips, watchlist actions — to understand how the service is used and to improve recommendations.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your name, payment details, or precise location. We do not sell personal data.

Cookies

We use a small number of functional cookies: an anonymous session identifier and, when signed in, authentication tokens. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Service providers

We rely on Supabase (database & authentication), Vercel (hosting), and Movie of the Night (streaming availability data). These providers process data only as needed to operate the service.

Your choices

You can clear your anonymous profile at any time by clearing site cookies. To delete account-linked data or ask a question, contact us — see Contact.
